BRONZE FOR BERTONE IN SEASONAL DEBUT

The 2025 racing season, for the Bottecchia Factory Team , kicked off last weekend. The stage was the Gran Fondo (of a national nature) " Terre di Franciacorta ", now a classic opening for the Italian Marathon calendar.

In a mixed route, without long asperities but with a continuous up and down without interruption, Filippo Bertone - one of the reconfirmations of the last season - managed to obtain the third step of the final podium. In ninth place, instead, Davide Masi entered.

This double top 10 result is a confirmation of the excellent work done during the winter and a good omen for the next appointments. In fact, despite the predictions being that of a group race, the frenetic pace immediately selected the group to a handful of riders, the same ones who played for the victory. Among them, in fact, were also the standard-bearers of the Bottecchia Factory.

Stefano Valdrighi was absent with justification, in the pits due to the flu. Among the others, however, the two new additions, Carlo Cortesi (finally in p12) and Federico Ottino (20th), made their debut with the Team's colors.
