ANOTHER TOP5 FOR THE FACTORY TEAM

The Bottecchia Factory Team has had a truly positive start to the season. It cannot be said otherwise: Filippo Bertone scores another top 5, finishing fifth in the Gran Fondo Valle dei Vini .

Despite the not too long route of forty kilometers of total distance, the GF included a difference in altitude that was really important. In fact, 1700 meters of elevation in such a short route, made the competition challenging and very selective, as was the start list, with names of the caliber of Diego Rosa, Dario Cherchi and Leonardo Paez.

The importance of being in such a prestigious order of arrival is not to be underestimated: immediately behind Bertone in fifth position , we find an increasingly lively Stefano Valdrighi, in sixth position . Only just missing the top 10 is the young Carlo Cortesi , eleventh at the finish line in Sambuca di Sicilia.

Davide Masi, however, was absent, having contracted the flu just a few days before the start.

Next weekend it will be time to line up at the start of Monteriggioni , now a classic sought after by all bikers, where last season Valdrighi had achieved a good fourth place.
